Titan, a name synonymous with traditional watches in India, has been making a foray into the Gen Z market with its range of smartwatches. The latest offering from the brand, the Titan Celestor, boasts a sleek design, a large display, and a host of exciting features, all for a price tag of Rs 9,995. But does this smartwatch truly stand out in a competitive market dominated by brands like Amazfit, Samsung, and Noise? Let’s delve into this detailed review to find out.

At first glance, the design is unmistakably Titan, featuring a sturdy metal case available in three color options: Black Eclipse, Aurora Blue, and Moonlight Edition. The beige Moonlight Edition might appeal to some, but the bolder Black and Blue options offer a more contemporary and sleek look.
The smartwatch showcases a classic round dial with a crown that enhances navigation. A short press takes you to the main menu, while a long press activates power controls. The crown is complimented by another button below, conveniently offering quick access to sports tracking modes. To complete the package, the left side features a speaker supporting Bluetooth calling.
The device comes equipped with replaceable silicone straps and boasts a 3ATM water resistance rating, making it suitable for casual swimming.

While the display delivers crisp visuals, there’s a noticeable stutter when swiping left or right, detracting from the overall fluidity. This is a point where the Celestor falls short compared to other smartwatches in its price range.
On the brighter side, the AMOLED display allows for an Always-On display feature, which cleverly adapts existing watch face designs for a sleek aesthetic. Titan branding is prominently displayed on both the watch face and the Always-On display, offering a distinctive look.
The extensive library of watch faces available through the Titan Smart World app enables further customization, allowing users to personalize their experience.
Titan Celestor Software and Companion App: User-Friendly Navigation
The Titan Celestor runs on a custom operating system, designed to deliver a smooth experience. The user interface is simple and intuitive, offering easy navigation. Titan Celestor Performance and Battery Life: Room for Optimization
While the Titan Celestor delivers decent performance, there’s room for improvement. The Bluetooth connection offers stable connectivity, ensuring consistent notification delivery from your various applications. However, the sheer volume of notifications can be overwhelming. Fortunately, the companion app allows you to selectively choose apps for which you want to receive notifications.
The smartwatch’s integrated call function works well for short calls, but due to the speaker’s limited output, prolonged conversations, especially in noisy environments, aren’t ideal.
The Titan Celestor includes a heart rate monitor, providing relatively accurate readings compared to its competitors. However, the step count consistently overestimates my activity, a drawback that needs addressing. On the positive side, it accurately registers steps only when actual movement occurs, eliminating false step counts from hand gestures or minor movements.
Sleep tracking offers accurate results, providing reliable insights into sleep patterns. The GPS functionality performed well during testing, though minor inaccuracies could occasionally occur.
The Titan Celestor offers excellent battery life. During extended testing, the smartwatch consistently lasted for a remarkable six days under heavy usage, including regular use of AGPS for morning walks, calls and notifications throughout the day, and the Always-On display. Furthermore, the smartwatch charges quickly, reaching a full charge in just 40 minutes, making it convenient for users on the go.
Titan Celestor Verdict: A Premium Look but Needs Work on Some Features
